He was predeceased by: his parents, Waddell David and Jamelia David; his wife Reba Boackle David; his son Waddell (Salam); and his siblings, Sidney David, Marie Trebotich and Agnes David.
He is survived by: his children, Nafe Jr., Emile (Brenda) and Lisa; his grandchildren, Joshua (Ashley), Jenna Cornell (Sebastian), Rebekah, Anthony and Mark; and his great grandchildren, Sam, Lilly, Beren, Rohan and Laurelin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (203 S White Station Rd, Memphis, TN 38117). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38120).
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Christian Brothers High School or St. Jude.
