He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Griffith and Vera Griffith; and his sister Sally Vetovitz. He is survived by: his wife Janet Griffith; his children, Kimberly Hults (David), Erin Strong (Vincent) and Christopher Griffith (Jana); his grandchildren, Madison Strong, Olivia Griffith and Emma Griffith; and his sister Maureen Krajcovic.
