It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Vanna Newsom of Germantown, Tennessee, born in Ashland, Mississippi, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Murley and Pearline Bailey; and her husband Donald G. Newsom. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Marsh (Tom), Janet Lynn, Paul Creswell, Anita Kay Stubbs and Renee Stuart (Carlin); and her grandchildren, Shannon Harris, Brandon Clark, Sarah Lacey, Jaime Gilhully, Heather Burrows, Thomas Stubbs and Ginger Stuart. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
