She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick J. Cecil, Sr.; her son Robert G. Von Thaden, Jr.; and her grandsons, Robert Von Thaden, III and Brett Waldrop. She is survived by: her children, Linda D. Von Thaden, Anthony G. Cecil, Frederick J. Cecil, Jr., Richard H. Cecil and Katherine "Kathy" A. Waldrop; and her grandchildren, Maleah Osborne-Taube, Kimberly Von Thaden, Nicholas Von Thaden, Amanda Taylor, Fredie Cecil, III, Hayley Harris, Brittany Cecil, Brandon Cecil, Jimie Cecil, Caitlin Waldrop, Blake Cecil, Matthew Waldrop, Samantha Waldrop and Andrea Waldrop. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made in Kaye's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
