She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Weiss and John Weiss; her spouse Minor Lee Davidson; and her sister Rosemary Lepley (Alden). She is survived by: her former husband Charles Walter Holmes of Chicago; her children, Victoria French (Russell), Charles "Bud" Holmes (Kipp) and Patricia Johnson; and her nephew Roger Lepley (Kristy). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
