He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vera Meyer Merrill and Bergen S. Merrill, Sr.; his wife Mary Louise Oakley Merrill; his brothers, Bergen S. Merrill Jr. and Erich W. Merrill; his son John Mark Merrill; his daughter-in-law Ripple Holland Merrill; his grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Merrill, John Mark Merrill, Jr. and David Michael Merrill; and his brother George Theodore Merrill.
Because of COVID 19, there will be a private ceremony for the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Briarcrest Christian School, 76 S. Houston Levee Rd, Eads, TN 38028.
