He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Lee and Myrtle Roberson Shelton; his children, James Ricky Shelton of Cordova, TN, Lisa Ann Shelton Donaldson (Ricky) of Memphis, TN, Linda Dianne Shelton (Jeff) of Mt. Pleasant, MS and Lori Lynn Barton (Danny) of Memphis, TN; his brother Terrell Shelton (Velma) of Nesbit, MS; his grandchildren, Patience Shelton, Hunter Dunlap and Dakota Dunlap; and his great grandchildren, Pheonix Fudge and Angel Shelton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
