He was predeceased by: his grandson Matthew Ryan Elkins; his sister Betty Lou Davis; and his parents, Walter Elkins and Nina Elkins. He is survived by: his wife Janet Elkins of Germantown; his children, Christine Elkins Hardin-Williams (Chris) of Olive Branch, MS and Timothy Ralph Elkins (Patricia) of Myrtle, MS; his brother Walter Homer Elkins, Jr. (Holly) of Memphis; his brother-in-law Jack Davis of Lenior City, TN; his grandchildren, Marissa Edwards (Barry) and Jordan Hardin; and his great grandchildren, Aiden James and Emma Jane Edwards. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
