It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gough Wheat in Germantown, Tennessee, who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wheat and Nora Wheat; and his siblings, Ralph, Deering and Lillian.

He is survived by: his children, Timothy (Ginger) and Marcia (Thomas); his grandchildren, Wheat Hotchkiss (Brittany), Newman Wheat, Chandler Hotchkiss, Austin Wheat (Caroline) and Julian Wheat; his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Hadley Hotchkiss; and his wife Dorothy. He is also survived by his children, grandsons, and great-granddaughters.

The family asks that any memorial donations be given to Second Baptist Church, Memphis, or the American Cancer Society.
