He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Howe Lace and Nettie Mae Hogan Lace; and his wife Elizabeth Ann Gowen. He is survived by: his children, Karen Lace McNeil (Bill) of Collierville and Robert'Bert'Lace; his grandchildren, Joanna McNeil Young (Bob), Rebekah McNeil Grant (David), Mary McNeil York (Dustin), Matthew Lace (Megan) and Greer Lace; his great grandchildren, GraceAnn, Tucker, Fran, Will, Luke, Sam, Amelia, Griffin, Ava and Charlotte; and his great great grandchildren, Wake and Caney.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cherry Valley Baptist Church (3301 AR-42, Cherry Valley, AR 72324). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Forrest Park (2605 S Washington St, Forrest City, AR 72335).
