She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wilson and Mary Louise Wilson; and her brother Ricky Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Earnest Kirkwood, Jr.; her children, Lanetra Denise Kirkwood and Jason Edward Hester; her grandchildren, Jimian Pittman, Lovbriel Patrice Hester and Aylana Elaine Kirkwood; her siblings, Deacon Ronald E. Wilson (Catherine) and Ann Wilson; and her close friends, Dr. Barbara D. Davis and Ann Mitchell Brown.
