He was predeceased by: his wife Reba Elizabeth Caldwell Pendergrass; his son Dale Pendergrass; and his parents, Gordon Pendergrass and Lela Pendergrass. He is survived by: his siblings, Margie Blackwell and Jody Pendergrass; his children, Mitchell Pendergrass, Sheila Albornoz (Maurice) and Alan Pendergrass (Athena); his daughter-in-law Trena Pendergrass; his grandchildren, Wendy Scott (Randy), Misty Pendergrass, Jamie Evans, Christina Gravell (Jason), Maurice Albornoz, Shania Albornoz, Cory Pendergrass, Aimee Harrod (Michael Harrod), Brandy Pendergrass, Kate Tinker (Bobby), David Pendergrass (Heather) and Jill Shuler (Adam); his great grandchildren, Sammy, Trinity, Hannah, Taylor, Morgan, Ashlee, Memphis, Jenna, Boston, Haley, Austin, Brianna, Tucker, Jaxon, Nolan, Ryann, Paige, Chloe, Izeyah, Roman, Kaia, Kenai, Adyson and Jocelyn; his great great grandchildren, Aralee, Jude, Bentley, Ezekiel, Braylee, Mia, Elliana, Holden, Mila, Jolyne, Leighton and Sophie; and his friends, Larry, Margaret Farmer, Randy Parris and Smiley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gum Springs Baptist Church (383 Gum Springs Rd NW, Georgetown, TN 37336). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stanfield Baptist Church (1549 No Pone Rd NW, Georgetown, TN 37336, United States).
