It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Ownby (Gatlinburg, Tennessee), who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Maples and Louise Hickam; and her sister Juanita Branam. She is survived by: her spouses, Momma and Eugene Ownby; her grandchildren, Jared, Beth, Erin, Ron, Zach, Savannah, Caleb, Madison Suzann, Destiney, Brandon, Ryan Grace, Rylee, Reese, Lauren, Taylor and Will; her great grandchildren, Ella Claire, Judson, Aubrey, Allie, Cecilia, Kayleigh and Jett; her sister Nancy Manis of Nelda McCarter; and also, Mamaw and Several. She is also survived by friends, and to make sure all were well fed, with a "you need to eat", or "are you hungry?" Her love and care will be greatly missed by the love of her life for 60 years, Papaw Eugene, by all her family and friends.
