She was predeceased by: her husband Shannon Otis "Ode" Williams; her parents, Thomas Brazelton "Braz" and Mary Lydia Ogle Ownby; and her siblings, Granvil Ownby, Willie Etta Ownby Maples, Mary Ruth and Ethel Ownby.
She is survived by: her daughter Theresa Williams; her sister Gladys Ownby Throop; and her close friend Jason McClure.
