He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy C. Carr; his parents, John Herman and Bernice Carr (Ogle); his granddaughter Diane May Allen; and his brother Freeman Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Genetta; his children, Ann Carr, Lisa C. Mendez (José), Janice Williams (Thomas Fisher), Elisabeth A. Carr and Myrl D. Carr (Renee); and his siblings, James, Robert, Bess, Arnold, Julie and Many. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren.
Survivors: Wife: Genetta Daughters: Ann Carr, Lisa C. Mendez and husband José, Janice Williams and husband Thomas Fisher, and Elisabeth A. Carr; Son: Myrl D. Carr and wife Renee 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: James, Robert, Bess, Arnold and Julie; Many nieces, nephews and cousins In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Atchley Funeral Home to benefit the family.
