We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2018, at the age of 87, Lillie Mae McCarter (Gatlinburg, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Clyde L. "Bill" McCarter and Maples; and her siblings, Omah Kear, Estel Kear, Alvin Kear, Iva Eslinger and Stella Proffitt.

She is survived by: her sons, Tim McCarter (Lisa) of Landrum, SC and Alan McCarter of Glendale, AZ; her grandchildren, Chris, Andrew, William McCarter and Breanna "McCarter" Landrum; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Landrum and Abbi Landrum.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cartertown Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
