He was predeceased by: his father John William; and his nephew Lawrence McClarey. He is survived by: his mother Normayne Stringer (Anderson); his pet Norma Jane; and his sisters, Catherine McClarey (Donald), Jeanette Cooper (Jim) and Susan Stringer. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
