She was predeceased by: her parents, Moody Janes and Hazel Janes (Davis); her daughter Ruth Ellen Jackson; her siblings, Francis Janes, Rebecca Freeman and Wymond Jones; and her granddaughter Tamare Prince.

She is survived by: her sons, Rudy Jackson (Gina) of Dallas, GA, Mark Jackson of Gates, TN and Tommy Jackson (Misty) of Gates, TN.; and her grandchildren, Christy Douglas, Kimberly Kennedy, Katie Laporte, Ryan Jackson, Jesse Jackson and Nathan Myers.
