She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Ray Smith and Lolo Alberta Smith (Hunt) of Union City; her daughter Jamie Lynn Newton; and her siblings, Mike Posey, Larry Smith and Dianne Posey.

She is survived by: her spouse Frank Charneco; her daughter Glada Nicole Taylor of Florida; and her siblings, Debbie Patterson of Troy, Judy Gierling of Union City and Joey Ray Smith of Troy. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
