She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Pinkney and Ellie Clark (Vaden); her husband John C. Emerson; her daughter Donna Jean Summer; her sister Ruth Martin; and her granddaughter Kim Edgell.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Emerson (Vickie) of Brownsville, TN and Larry "Red Bone" Emerson of Forked Deer, TN.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great- grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
