It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Clair Escue (Gates, Tennessee), born in Ripley, Mississippi, who passed away on June 27, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Madison Crossen and Allie Jane Witt Crossen; her husband Richard Durwood Escue; and her siblings, Jimmy Crossen, Willard Crossen, Harlen Crossen, Beatrice Daniels, Ester Lee Hatman, Margaret Simpson, Genorah Morris, Dorothy Hardy, Mildred Crossen and Hazel Crossen.
She is survived by: her children, Sam L. Escue (Lynda) of Alexandria, AL, Janie Collins (Brian) of Trenton, TN, Joyce Burcky (Peter) of Bartlett, TN and Frances Bullard (Raymond) of Southaven, MS; her brothers, Guy Crossen of Apopka, FL and Walter Crossen of Brownsville, TN.; and her close friends, Sue Hill and Bobbie Jean Emerson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
