She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Daniel and Lena May McNeill (Newman); her husband Floyd Ryan Emerson; her son Roger Emerson; and her siblings, Juanita Stanley, Evelyn Escue, Elizabeth Janzen, J. D. McNeill and James Albert McNeill.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Jordan (Barry) of Arlington, TN and Jimmy Emerson of Gates, TN.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
