The passing of Sandra Wright Upton in Gallatin, Tennessee, born in Florence, Alabama leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Wright and Motier Wright; her brothers, Don Wright and Paul Wright; and her brother-in-law Bill Haynes.
She is survived by: her children, Alicia Georgiou (Chris) and Jason Upton (Ellie); her grandchildren, Emma Georgiou and Sheldon Upton; her sisters, Peggy Haynes and Sharon Williams; and her former husband Jon Upton (Vicki). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (525 New Shackle Island Rd, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
