It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Wesley Walton of Gallatin, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther T. Walton and Louise Walton; his daughter Lisa Mears; his sister Betty; and his brother-in-law George Bloodworth.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Walton; his daughters, Gaye Walton and Donna Gay (Keith); his grandsons, Dustin Padgett and Brandon Padgett (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Owen Padgett; his stepchildren, Lindy Glaser (Alan) and Randy Porter (Stacy); his stepgrandchildren, Erika Porter (Matt Edwards), Ian Porter (Jennifer) and Lauren Glaser; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Emerson and Elizabeth; and his niece Nanette Bloodworth Hoover. He is also survived by cats and dogs.
