She was predeceased by: her parents, H. E. Rodgers Sr. and Nora Helen Craighead Rodgers; her husband John Samples; and her siblings, Freeman Rodgers, Hubert Rodgers and Estelle Eden.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Samples (Angie) of Gallatin and Robin Brazel Hyatt (David) of Gallatin; her sister-in-law Shirley Rodgers of Gallatin; her grandchildren, Dustin Brazel (Taylor), Dillion Brazel (Racheal), Kasey Brazel, Kristin Samples, Tyler Samples, Collin Samples and Cayden Samples; and her great grandchildren, Nayomi Samples, Hadley Brazel, Harper Brazel, Owen Brazel, Charlie Brazel and Wyatt Crowder.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gallatin (100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Crestview Memory Gardens (1623 Hwy 109 N, Gallatin, TN 37066).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Potter Children's Home, 2350 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
