It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mattie J. Bradley of Gallatin, Tennessee, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dorris and Nellie Hopkins Dorris; her husband Jesse W. Bradley; her brother Bobby Franklin Dorris; her half-siblings, Paul Everett Dorris, Velva Hopkins and Orilla Akin; her grandson Brad Floyd; and her great grandchild Brayden Floyd.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Bradley (Sandra) of Gallatin, Teresa Biggs of Gallatin and Beth Lemons (Tim) of Gallatin; her sisters-in-law, Billie Sue Bradley (Hollis) of Plainfield, IN and Ruby Mai Bradley (Dean) of Gallatin; and her grandchildren, Jason Bradley, Michael Bradley (Sarah), Kaye O'Malley (Heather), Duane Biggs (Beth), Andy Biggs (Stephanie), Tim Biggs and David Floyd (Marcia). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Sellars Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
