She was predeceased by: her parents, Reed Jarvis and Mary Gladys Jarvis; her former husband Billy Gene Steenbergen; her husband Genie Ray Claiborne; and her siblings, Mary Shelley, Genevieve Cross, Hugh Jarvis, Gene Jarvis and Glenn Jarvis.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Finch (Tim), Cindy Bean (David), Leslie Hodges (John), Mike Claiborne (Sandra) and Jeff Claiborne (Marie); and her grandchildren, Casey Dycus (Grady), Courtney Smith (Trevis), Bryan Bean (Amy), Mandy Locke (Jason), Wade Hodges (Emily), Wes Hodges, Matt Claiborne (Candice), Sarah Harrell (Jamie), Hannah Claiborne, Gabriel Claiborne and Rebecca Huddleston (Corey). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Calendar Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville.
