With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Ballis McKinzie of Gallatin, Tennessee, who passed away on December 19, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Pouder and Emma Louise Gasser; her siblings, Nick, Bill, George and Martha; her sons-in-law, Doug and Leon; and her stepfather Fritz.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda, Mary Alice, Steve and Doug; and her sisters, Marie and Patricia. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery (5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216).
