Jerry Wallace Vandercook Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Wallace Vandercook of Gallatin, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Vandercook and Bethel Vandercook; his siblings, Jean Taylor, J. D. Vandercook and Helen Thomasson; and his daughter Shelli Martin.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Vandercook; his children, Ricky Kimbro (Elaine), Lori Hall (Paul) and Derek Kimbro (Cindy); his son-in-law Richard Martin; his sister Glenda Mayes; and his grandchildren, Jamie Sisco (Derek), Jessica Leftrick (Jason), Taylor Brazel (Dustin), Casey Scruggs (JR), Chris Kimbro (Tiffany), Amanda Hall, Tanner Hall, Tyler Kimbro (Bobbi-Jo), Kendal Kimbro, Casey Goins (Caroline), Justin Goins and Sydney Goins. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hartsville Pike Church of Christ (744 Hartsville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
