He was predeceased by: his parents, Eston Spivey and Versie Moss Spivey; and his siblings, Raymond Spivey, Ralph Spivey, Thelma Meadows and Alma Bauer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Nunley Spivey of Gallatin; his children, Glenda Hammock (Larry) of Castalian Springs and Keith Spivey (Lisha) of Bethpage; his sister Allyson Forkum of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Jason Hammock (Landre), Mary Spann (Chris), Rob Spivey (Erin) and Andrew Spivey (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Kennedy Hammock, Aubrie Hammock, Charlotte Hammock, Mason Deck, Lucas Spann, Victoria Spivey, Christian Spivey and Palmer Spivey.
