It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold R Smith of Gallatin, Tennessee, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlis Smith and Minnie "Lola" Dyer Smith; and his brother Charlie Butcher (Dorothy). He is survived by: his wife Precilla Ann Haskins Smith; his daughters, Penny Gray (Jonathan), Candace Woodard (David) and Cindy Mathews (Tyler); his grandchildren, Patrick Gray (Beth), Philip Gray (Amanda), Nathan Woodard (Mattie Mae), Seth Woodard, Ethan Mathews and Anna Mathews; and his great grandchildren, Lily Gray, Henry Gray, Olivia Gray, Waylon Woodard and Mollie Woodard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Woodard Funeral Home (5591 US-31E, Westmoreland, TN 37186). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers are welcome but you may choose to make a memorial donation to Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
