He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis W. Shrum and Carrie Owen Shrum; his daughter Candy Shrum of Hartsville; and his sisters, Barbara Shrum, Carol Sue Roberts and Diana Green.
He is survived by: his children, Charles David Shrum of Gallatin, Carrie Denise Shivers of Gainesboro and Madison Shrum of Michigan; and his siblings, David W. Shrum (Annette) of Gallatin, Mickey McCullough (Roy) of Gallatin and Marla Cooke (Len) of Florida. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gallatin (100 Albert Gallatin Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
