He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lee Haney and Addie B. Hammock Haney; his brothers, Millis Ronnie Haney, Jessie Lee Haney and Bobby Ree Haney; and his grandparents, Willis, Parazetta Haney, Ridley and Hammock of Nevada.
He is survived by: his son Sherman Haney (Sharon) of Cookeville; his siblings, David Haney of Cookeville, Reba Taylor of Cookeville, Edna Fox of Bloomington Springs, Geneva Smallwood of Cookeville and Juanita Rhoten of Bloomington Springs; and his grandson Johnathan Haney of Cookeville.
