With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley L. Dyer (Gainesboro, Tennessee), born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on November 19, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Willis Crites, Sr. and Ethel Lorraine Moore Dowling; her daughter Brenda L. Dyer Nowak; her siblings, Richard E. Crites, Jr. and Vickie Ilene Dowling; and her grandchildren, Kelli Marleena Raines and Bobby Joe Raines.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Dyer Woodard (Benny) of Gainesboro; her siblings, Herbert G. Dowling, Jr., Michael Dowling of Texas, Tommy Crites of Chicago and Mary; her grandchildren, TJ Mowrey, Jr., Carmella Lorraine Nowak and Paishence Amaris Rush; her great grandchild Jamie Bren Pippin; and her pet Sassy.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to ASPCA or to any no kill animal shelter.
