He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frank Dennis and Retta Elise Strong Dennis; his brother Rickey Dennis; and his brother-in-law Jim Gentry. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Dennis of Gainesboro and Jamie Dennis (Jennifer) of Gallatin; his sisters, Judy Collins (Eddie) of Gainesboro and Ann Gentry of Gainesboro; his grandchildren, Ryan Dennis, Noah Vaden, Caleb Dennis, Dylan Hayworth, Whitaker Dennis and Annie Dennis; and his close friends, Randy and Lisa Sullivan.
