He was predeceased by: his parents, Ithel Levi Skipper and Minnie Frances Minchey Skipper. He is survived by: his children, Zach Skipper and Lindsay Brunner; his grandchildren, Hannah, Sawyer and Jackson; his sister Patricia Haffner of Columbia, TN; his nephew Henry Haffner (Lisa Haffner); and his cousin Donna Baggett.
