She was predeceased by: her parents, William Riley Heady and Martha Jane Trisdale Heady; her spouse Reeves Jr. Hix; her son Donnie Hix; and her grandson Kelly Hix.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Jane Maberry (Tony) of Gainesboro, TN and Jackie Marie Hix Smith (Dennis) of Cookeville, TN; her daughter-in-law Betty Hix of Gainesboro; her grandchildren, Tony Hix (Chasity), Lindsey Casey (Jessey), Taylor Hamlet (Bradley), Connor Smith, Madelyn Maberry, Blaise Barlow (Abbye) and Kinsey Lemmons (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Miley Hix, Carolina Barlow, Lena Rue Barlow and Ezra Casey.
