He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clark Farris, Sr. and Bertha Ellen Hurst; his wife Hannah Teresa Kents; and his brothers, Tommy and James Goley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Marie Wiles of Gainesboro, TN, Amy Elisabeth Finney (John) and Amanda Nicole Dean (Ian); his siblings, John Clark Farris, Jr., Danny Farris, Peggy Ann Kissel, Brenda Sue Lawson, Nita Unruh and Juliet Calleton; and his stepmother Gladys Farris. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
