She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Burgess and Gladys Davidson; her husband W. G. Burroughs; and her siblings, Barney Burgess, Blair Burgess and Betty Mayberry.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Jones of Baxter, TN, Penny Dyer (Jerry) of Cookeville, TN and Roger Dale Burroughs of Cookeville, TN; her grandchildren, Ryan Hopkins of Gainesboro, TN, Chanse Hopkins (Kaylia) of Cookeville, TN, Dakota Dyer of Double Springs, Dillon Dyer of Double Springs, Andrew of Knoxville, TN and Liza Burroughs of Knoxville, TN; and her great grandchild Kambree Hopkins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in her honor to Curry's Chapel Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
