She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Newberry and Maude Raines Newberry; and her sister Belinda Roark. She is survived by: her husband Horace Benson of Gainesboro, TN; her sons, Josh Stafford of Gamaliel, KY and Jacob Newberry of Whitleyville; her stepdaughters, Jenny Benson and Sabrina Benson; her sisters, Rita Biggs of Gainesboro, TN and Betty Tuck; and her grandchildren, Brody Newberry, Landon Newberry and Leila Newberry.
