He is survived by: his mother Anna Lois Gore Mercer of Whitleyville, TN; his wife Betty Mercer of Gainesboro, TN; his children, Jonathan Mercer of Gainesboro, TN and Rachel Ragland (Teddy) of Gainesboro, TN; his sister Brenda Raines (Jeff) of Gainesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Peyton Ragland (Hillary) and Hannah Jackson (Travis); and his great grandchildren, Bryce Ragland, Kyler Ragland, Zaidyn Jackson and Haislee Jackson.
