He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Hopkins and Mary Susan Allen Hopkins; his wife Reba Irene Hopkins; and his siblings, Marion Hopkins, Lewis Morgan Hopkins, Joe Reeves Hopkins, Edwin Lee Hopkins and Betty "Betts" Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Charles William Hopkins, Jr. (Donna) of Gainesboro, TN, Bobbie Sue Davidson (Tommy) of Bloomington Springs, TN and Wanda Jean Tucker (David) of Cookeville, TN; his grandchildren, Seth Tucker (Missy), Jessica Hardy (Jason), Melissa Snipes (David), Heather Melton (Andy), Andrea Thaxton (Clay), Brent Davidson (Carly), Ashley Richardson (Caleb), Adrianne Phann (Jim) and Brandon Hopkins (Amber); and his great grandchildren, Kyleigh Hardy, Jacob Hardy, Elijah Charles Tucker, Gabrielle Bettis, Matthew Snipes, Andrew Blake Melton, Brady Ray Melton, Charles Henry Thaxton, Thomas Peek, Makenna Hopkins, Michael James Richardson and Mary Richardson.
