It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole McBroom of Gainesboro, Tennessee, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Elmer Long and Ova Myrtle Hicks Long; and her son Tommy Lee Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Charles McBroom of Gainesboro, TN; her daughters, Teresa Johnson Dillehay (Tim) of Cookeville, TN and Kristi McBroom Ellis (Jamie) of Gainesboro, TN; her grandchildren, Brittany Carole Ellis Trekell (Clain) of Baxter, TN, Thomas Bryant Dillehay of Cookeville, TN and William "Will" Fenton Dillehay of Cookeville, TN; and her pet Willow.
