She was predeceased by: her parents, Kemp Henderson Phillips and Birdie Mae Delph Phillips; her husband Jack Gilley; her children, Richard Gilley, Randall Gilley, Lovely Mae Sturgill of Fayetteville, NC and Mary Ann Gilley of Effingham, IL; and her sister Virginia Tritt of Bristol, VA..
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Gilley (Wanda) of Sparta, TN, Mitchell Wayne Gilley of Hillsville, VA, Sandra Clark (Doug) of Cookeville, TN, Carolyn Norris of Bogalusa, LA, Barbara Hembree of Effingham, IL and Bernita Riddle. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a few great- great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to assist with cremation expenses. Donations may be made by contacting the business office of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.
