He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Burton Benson, Sr. and Carrie Brewer Benson; and his wife Janie Benson. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Brown of Livingston, TN and Sabrina Marie Race of Jacksonville, FL; his stepson Josh Stafford of Gamaliel, KY; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Corey Daniels, Amber Nicole Daniels, Tacie Lynn Brown, Kyle Stephen Race, Justine Elizabeth Race and Austin Lee Race.
