It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Loretta Ailey of Friendsville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Ailey; her parents, James Guthrie and Lovetta Guthrie; her sister Joan Lee Gunter; and her great grandchild Aaron Conner Barnes.

She is survived by: her children, Angelia Dean (Beaver), Annette Ailey (Michelle), Arelene Bryant (Terry), Eric Ailey (Shannon) and Eddy Ailey; and her brothers, Freddie Guthrie and Ronald Guthrie (Beverly). She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help cover funeral expenses.
