She was predeceased by: her parents, L. V. East and Mary Rainey East; her sons, Jamie Chronister and Jerry Chronister; and her siblings, Billy East, Shirley Terry, Mary Nell Owsley and Carolyn Maupin.
She is survived by: her sons, Edd "Hillbilly" Chronister of Dyersburg and Steve Chronister (Debbie) of Clarksville, Tennessee; her siblings, Tony East of Trimble and Joy Carney (Gene "Tex") of Norfork, Nebraska; her daughter-in-law Carol Chronister of Illinois; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Wozniak, Wananna Sabin, Brian Chronister, Karen Goodwell and Jimmy Chronister. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
