He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Burnett and Dorothy Woods Burnett; and his grandson Drew Stephen Rice. He is survived by: his wife Faye Starett Burnett; his children, Laura Rice (Steve) and Greg Burnett (Maria); and his stepdaughter Van Quick (Tim). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
