He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Fortner and Larry Frank Fortner; and his sister Bonnie Fortner. He is survived by: his wife Tina Fortner; his children, Shannon Hurst (A. J.) and Chris Fortner (Ashley); his siblings, Bud Hardin, Mary Beth Thornburg and Rebecca Whittaker; his niece Ashley Wilson (Jimmie); and his grandchildren, Macy Castellaw, Alanna Fortner, Paxton DeGood, Easton, Cooper and Stella Hurst.
