With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Mae Roberts of Friendship, Tennessee, who passed away on January 6, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Carolyn Mae shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carolyn Mae farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Hobock and Annie Mae Ford Hobock. She is survived by: her husband Mike Roberts of Halls, TN; her children, David Thomas Gilliland (Laurie) of Frog Jump, TN and Andrea Beth Vanness (Charles); her grandchildren, Grant Vanness, Bethanie Latham and Kyle Gilliland; and her great grandchildren, Carter Thomas Gilliland and Harrison Latham.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Maury City Funeral Home (4754 TN-88, Alamo, TN 38001). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Oakview Memorial Gardens.
